Digital Product Leader

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated Digital Product Leader to join our Digital Experience team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who is both analytical and creative with how they use data to recommend tangible improvements to the product discovery and development process. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to build cross-functional relationships to drive and manage organizational improvements. The goal is to improve existing processes and assist in building digital systems that enable the members around you to do the best work possible.

Essential Functions Include​

  • Guide the Agile team and developers to define user stories and story points.

  • Own the digital product end to end as well as roadmap at the technology/functional level.

  • Plan the capability and features of the digital platform.

  • Drive product demos.

  • Provide technical guidance to support the product backlog grooming sessions conducted by Scrum master.

  • Provide guidance to developers to design, implement, test, and deploy capabilities using the latest technologies and best practices.

  • Agile project delivery End to End ownership in implementing digital solutions, communicate risks, issues, challenges, and status/progress of the project.

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

  • Design new computer programs by gathering requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.

  • Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.

  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.

  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.

  • Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing products to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables

  • Monitor risk-management procedures and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development.

  • Act as a digital analytics subject matter expert representing aspects like data collection and use cases for solving business questions.

  • Manage the compilation and dissemination of regular (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc.) reports on performance of the digital channel.

  • Create automated reports and dashboards to monitor and communicate performance.

  • Determine KPIs and benchmarks to evaluate user sentiment and ROI.

  • Support a variety of partners across the organization with ad-hoc reporting and in-depth analysis.

 

Qualifications

  • A College degree in business or related field is preferred, but not required.

  • Minimum of four years in technical management, project management, or product owner position.

  • Minimum of four years working with Agile Methodology and associated tools, i.e. Atlassian products.

  • Minimum of three years' experience in Quality Assurance activities, including documenting and executing QA Test plans and associated test cases.

  • Minimum of three years' experience with digital analytics.

  • Minimum of three years' experience with business analysis.

  • Minimum of three years' experience with a financial institution.

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.

  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and with different levels of technological understanding.

  • Ability to work independently as well in collaborative team settings, demonstrate independent judgment, ask probing questions, and move in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Be a self-starter, organized, and demonstrate the ability to meet aggressive timelines.

Salary: $35.00 hourly
